The Experience
Lifestyle sessions outdoors, in a special destination, or the comfort of your home.
We'll meet you pretty much anywhere. We've hiked mountains, sat in dark and warm living rooms, ran down beaches and traversed any number of cities - we love it all.
The focus is you, everything else is just supporting that.
How it Works
Step 01
Getting comfortable
We usually arrive early, you'll probably hear us before you see us! We'll chat, get to know each other a little bit, and we'll be taking pictures from the first moment. You can tell us any wishes or concerns you have and we'll address everything up front. Then the fun begins...
Step 02
Being your beautiful selves
A client told me she didn't know how I made her look so good, in fact I get this a lot. I see everyone with so much love and my gift is making people laugh. How could we not look so beautiful when we're happy and loved? And of course patience - we don't force anything, we do keep photographing though. I'm telling ya, it's the in-betweens.
Step 03
Editing your photos
Here's where most people have questions. You may notice our style varies from season to season, session to session. We're artists and while we have a base of edits we use we also rely on the mood, lighting, tone, and overall feel of your session to chose our edits. We don't have "one look" which I see so often now. Which isn't bad at all, it's just not us. Most post-processing takes 1 to 3 weeks.
Step 04
Now they're all yours
After we finish post-processing you'll receive a password protected online gallery where you can download ALL of your many, many images. We usually provide anywhere from 100 to 300 images per regular family session. How insane would it be to tell you the in-between is where we thrive, and then not deliver it all for you to enjoy? You'll have plenty of traditional photos and so many wonderful natural images as well.

These are a base for us to work from - not set in stone. We will never deny someone a session if they can't afford the cost. Barter, trade, broken into smaller payments - let's talk and come up with a way for you to have the session you've always dreamed of.
